Scheduling Your Newborn Session

Scheduling your Newborn Session is best in the first 2 week from the time baby is born. 

Babies need to arrive ready to eat, Parents are given time to feed their baby before the session so that there tummies are nice and full and ready to fall asleep.

Babies within the 2-week bracket – Babies under two weeks are more sleep and are more flexibles for cuter posing leading to a more successful session. The best time to schedule your session is for first thing in the morning as babies have been up all night.

Babies older that 2 weeks – Older babies can be done but there is no guarantee of a successful session as they become more awake and more a wear of their surroundings  the session becomes harder and longer. The best time to schedule for older babies are later in the mornings /afternoon

I have learned from experience that new-borns at very late afternoon or early evening sessions are generally not as comfortable and therefore i do not photograph new-borns at this time. New-born scheduling is ideal when booked in advance, however I accommodate new bookings daily. Planning in advance ensures that new-born sessions are able to be booked. If a new-born session has not been scheduled in advance, I do ask that clients call or email within 24 hours of giving birth with the new-born statistical information. My wish is for a healthy and wonderful deliveries, however I know that complications or postpartum recovery delays do happen.
